The filter on the left is new, and the other one just came out of my truck. It is supposed to be blue.

Lol that’s more or less what my old filter looked like in my Accord. After putting the new one in it made a very noticeable difference.

Those blue PureOne air filters are awesome! I have one in my car now. Too bad they stopped making them! Well, at least there’s the yellow Fram Tough Guard, and the red Autozone air filters!

How long did you have that blue filter in the truck?

The filter box has a filter minder to tell you when it is time to replace. This was reading 80+% clogged.

I do my air and cabin filters every February. I helped my friend do his 2000 Silverado’s cabin filter for what appeared to be the first time last year and it was even worse than yours. We were both impressed and grossed out at the air we were breathing.

That’s the engine air filter for a Duramax. I haven’t bothered to deal with the cabin air filter... Yet

Previous owner put it in. It was on the truck when I got it, so at least 30K miles.
